Integrity at the source
Every herb begins with high-quality seeds, many developed in partnership with botanical genetics researchers to ensure optimal plant integrity. Approximately 95% of our raw herbs are sourced from their traditional Di Dao regions — the geographic origins where these botanicals thrive and have demonstrated potency for centuries.
Our botanical partner works directly with over 300 farms, many of which they own or co-own, creating a short, transparent supply chain that bypasses wholesale markets and preserves quality from harvest to lab.
Traditional preparation, modern refinement
Once harvested and authenticated through botanical fingerprinting, herbs undergo traditional Pao Zhi preparation — soaking, steaming, fermenting, roasting, or stir-frying — methods chosen specifically to refine each herb’s character and function.
From there, modern refinement complements traditional practice:
-
gentle, water-based extraction with no harsh solvents
-
preservation of essential oils
-
low-temperature concentration to maintain biochemical integrity
The result is a potent extract that preserves the herb’s full chemical complexity.
Pure, potent, full-spectrum extracts
In the final stage, extracts are transformed through a patented dry-granulation process in a controlled clean-room environment. This produces granules that are easy to dissolve, highly bioavailable, and true to the original herb.
Every batch is:
-
lab-tested for purity and safety
-
screened for heavy metals, pesticides, and microbes
-
fully traceable from seed to shelf
-
free from sulfur preservatives and harsh solvents
